What is Green Energy?
And what's the difference between green energy, renewable energy and clean energy? Often these terms are used interchangeably, but there are some differences.
One thing that green, clean and renewable energy all have in common is that they're being increasingly used to generate electricity in order to phase out the use of fossil fuels, like coal and gas, which are a key cause of climate change.
Green energy is energy that can be produced using a method, and from a source, that causes no harm to the natural environment.
Renewable energy is energy produced from sources like the sun and wind that are naturally replenished and do not run out. Renewable energy can be used for electricity generation, space and water heating and cooling, and transportation. Non-renewable energy, in contrast, comes from finite sources that could get used up, such as fossil fuels like coal and oil.Green energy plays a key role in the energy transition due to its low environmental impact. It offers an alternative to non-renewable energies and helps fight global warming by not producing greenhouse gasses or polluting emissions.
Hydraulic Energy

Transforms the kinetic energy of water into electricity through hydroelectric plants. Like wind energy, hydroelectric energy is intermittent: it depends on the flow of water (dams, rivers, torrents, etc.) and precipitation. That is to say, the drier the year, the less hydroelectric energy will be produced and vice versa.
Solar Energy

It is a renewable energy produced from sunlight, so it is also an intermittent energy. Solar energy is used in two ways: with photovoltaic technology and with thermal technology. Photovoltaic solar energy converts the sun's rays into electricity through the use of photovoltaic plates or panels, while solar thermal energy is generally used to heat fluids, such as certain home water heaters.
Wind Energy

Wind Energy:It depends on the strength of the wind. It comes from turbines, called wind turbines or air turbines, which convert the kinetic energy of the wind into wind energy.
